Reception Teacher

We are looking for a Reception Teacher, who is dedicated to providing exceptional pastoral care and a first-class education. Could that be you?

As our Reception Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in the education and development of some of our youngest pupils. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons that inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning. About the Position

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Preparing lesson plans and learning materials to facilitate positive pupil development, as well as assessments that can accurately determine pupil progress and ways in which you can facilitate pupil development.
  • Implementing and delivering lessons of an excellent standard to pupils in Reception.
  • Fostering a learning environment and educational structures that allow a child to flourish as a ‘whole person’ and not only in the academic sense.
  • Continuing to develop and update the school curriculum, enabling your lessons to always adapt to the needs of every child.

About you

We are looking for someone who has:

  • QTS (essential).
  • Experience designing and implementing inspirational and engaging schemes of work in EYFS.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible, adaptable and enthusiastic.
  • Strong commitment to continued personal development.
