The Wellesley Haddon Dene
FAMILY

Wellesley House is a family-orientated preparatory school where pupils aged between 2-11 years have a chance to shine – in the classroom, in the creative arts and on the sports field – supported by exceptional pastoral care. We cater for day pupils, who are fully integrated into the school and benefit from an extended school day.

Our Beautiful
LOCATION

Wellesley is located in the quintessentially British seaside town of Broadstairs, famed for its Victorian architecture and beautiful white cliff-edged sandy beaches, and for being the home of Charles Dickens. The Victorians recognised the health benefits of being by the sea and we fully endorse this thinking, incorporating weekly beach school sessions, where children get the chance to have lots of traditional seaside fun whilst learning about marine life and bio-diversity.

The Wellesley Haddon Dene
VALUES

  • Kindness
  • Respect
  • Courage
  • Resilience
  • Teamwork

These are the values that our pupils, staff and wider community agree to uphold. They are the heart of the school and are the foundation of the strong community at Wellesley House. They help pupils to form lifelong friendships, and to guide their moral compass during their time at Wellesley and throughout their lives.
